That's not even their best one, unfortunately the official site is down. But I do know where another one is.

Perfect Day

(Right Click, Save As), this is a another demo.

that ones okay as well - once again, some nice touches, but quite repetitive and kinda "heard it all before".

Admiral Archer 28th August 2003 18:36

You must keep in mind that these are just demos.

zootm 28th August 2003 18:38

surely demos would be lacking in sound quality, rather than songwriting skill? the sound quality is excellent, incidentally. very good recordings, for demo recordings.

Admiral Archer 28th August 2003 18:43

I believe most of the songs were recorded in the lead singer's basement, and some others around his house.

zootm 28th August 2003 18:46

they've done well - i've heard worse recordings come out of studios

The guy used to be the singer/songwriter of the (quite excellent) band Limblifter. I don't think this stuff is as good as he's done in the past, but he is a talented songwriter, so hopefully the album will be better.

Didn't he also do some of the song writing in "Age of The Electric"?

Captain Bottles 29th August 2003 18:37

He did. I know he wrote "Remote Control," which was one of their best.
