How do I become a member from a junior member?

i lost count a while ago,to be honest.

Yes, it is 50 posts to be a member. But don't post 50 times just to become a member - it will make you disliked by almost everyone here. Just post when you have something to say.

i think senior member is 100
major dude is 500
and forum king is 2000

moderators are chosen - don't worry about it.
other people with custom titles are either:
Member of the Month - the person who is voted MOTM gets a custom title
Reviewers - people who review skins/AVS for the website get a custom title
Banned - if you're an arse and break the rules, expect to get this custom title, and to mysteriously be unable to post again...

dead is just reapers custom title, custom titles are only given to the good boys and girls, or winners of MOTM

It used to be that you just ask to be made a moderator.

Bizznatch (and others on his behalf, or rather at his expense) has also tried to start numerous "Bizz For Mod" voting campaigns (example, example, example). Those don't seem terribly effective.

I thought of trying one of those "me for mod" threads, but I know I don't stand a chance considering that there's like only 2 people on these forums that REALLY know and like me ALOT. Everyone else seems just to be indifferent. Oh well, at least I'm not hated by anyone...

Ya know, I think this is all jsut a run-around for y'alls pleasure. I've been to biblo's, sawg's, ethan_h's, and even mike's, and they jsut keep leadnig me on. I am starting to think I will never be promoted to mod :(

I once long ago asked Bilbo how you would go about becoming a mod, he explained to me how honestly (no jokes) and I have been trying to adhear to the guidlines he gave me. Not that I ever expect to become one, but its nice to know that I try.

A day at my guild:
Member post pumps, 12 messages in a row consisting of "I hate spam!"
Chica says: "Have fun being temp-banned" *click*
Chica deletes all evidence to clear up the message board.
Chica's members ph34r and love her.
Three days later, Chica decides to take off the temp-ban.
Chica says, "I hope you learned your lesson."
Member posts 15 messages consisting of "No."
Chica says, "Toodle-oo" and deletes member.
Chica's members bow down and kiss her feet.
Chica's members gag because Chica's feet are stinky. Darn sandals :(

I would be too strange, even for this bord.

I'ed let spam threads keep going untill the membership had finnished making parodies out of the spamed product.

I'ed never ban sombody, I would change there pasword.

I'ed be forced to learn to spell.

I'd be fine if they made me a mod. I've been around enough, seen what they do. All I'd really do is move/lock threads. I'd let the bigum's (sawg, etc) handle bans and such. :)

Much better to be an ordinary member and have the freedom to piss off whoever you want to than to have to be a mod and behave (most of the time, unless you are Bilbo)

agreed, I wouldn't want to put up with bullshit stupid people would throw at me :p

that and I don't need power to make myself feel special, feeling worthless does that fine :D

you know..in my defense, when i was begging to be mod, it was back in "the good old days"
