low volume divx files
 

recently i've been using winamp 2.95 to playback quite a few divx movies. however, a number of these (i think it's always those with ac3 encoded audio) have very low sound output volumes - i can turn the speakers up to max and it's still rather quiet.

does anyone know of a way of sorting this out? i was hoping the audio could be amplified (a lot) more at playback, although if there's a way of altering the actual divx files then please let me know.
