automatic volume control via line-in with any signal (compressor, talk-over,...)
Hi guys...
Maybe this question was posted already, but sorry guys, i didnt find it then. Believe me, i tried :weird: My Question is this: I have my winamp playing my playlist. But when there is a signal (say with a certain threshold) for example a song from a cd or a voice on the line-in of my soundcard, the winamp should either lower the playlist volume, mute the output of the playlist or pause it. I tried a couple of DJ programs, plug-ins (line-in plug in) and so on but nothing of these things worked for me. Actually, isnt it a common "problem" for radio DJ´s who want to talk over their broadcast with an automatical reductions of the song volume? Thx for any help or advice you can give me cheers sigi |
I think the easiest way is to do what deejays have done for decades. Control the volume and the playback source manually.

:-) yeah yeah....
the problem is, this is out of question; it is supossed to be a stand-alone machine... |
