unresponsive

Sometimes during playback of various mp3s, Winamp(2.91 full) becomes unresponsive so I have to ctrl+alt+del and close winamp.exe. I'm curious as to why this happens and what I can to do fix it.

It depends. What are your system specs (DirectX, Windows version, sound card, processor, ram)?

DirectX- It is installed, but I'm not sure what version.
Windows version- XP Professional
sound card- not sure. What's the easiest way to find out?
processor- Intel Celeron
ram- 128MB
