sound and vid stops playing
 

so i'm listening to one of my songs that is on my computer when the stream stops. after that winamp won't play any files sound or video. i can still move the slider and hit the buttons or change the preferences all i want but no media playback. i need to ctrl alt delete it and start it back up again to get it to play anything. but it just does it again after about 1 min to two min of listening. running win2000 pro. i have an audigy 2 card so i tried disabling the .dll files in the plugins folder but that didn't work. i've used winamp for a long time now and it's by far my favorite media player, i'd hate to have to drop it because of a stupid thing like this. older versions worked just fine... Help is greatly appreciated!

Any third party plug-ins installed?

Completely un-install and re-install Winamp 2.91.

Wile you are at it make sure your Video Card drivers and DirectX installation are up to date.
