Full Screen Won't Stay Full Screen Revised
 

When I run Winamp with a playlist, I like to use the visualizations on full screen with Winamp minimized. The problem I have is that whenever the next song comes up, Winamp maximizes and shrinks my visualization. I've looked all over for the settings to prevent this, but I can't find them. Please help.

This is a well documented "bug" in Winamp3 that has already been addressed and fixed in internal developer builds, and the fix will also be applied in the next public release of Winamp3 (no set date though so don't ask).

If you feel "adventurous" you can install one of the developer builds that has already addressed the problem, but also be aware of the fact that internal dev builds are not supported by Nullsoft/Winamp and if other problems crop up when using a dev build, there is no support offered in these forums or at the Dev Site itself.

As an alternative, you can download/install Classic Winamp 2.91, which is NEWER than the latest public release of Winamp3, and which should not give you that problem.

Winamp3 and Classic Winamp 2.x can both happily coexist on your system, since they are 2 separate applications/media players. I and many many other people have both installed and switch between the 2 as desired. Actually, I find myself personally using Classic Winamp 2.91 more now than I do Winamp3.
