Yeah, it's part of the spelling problem. That people are so used to reading words like that they don't bother too much with the spelling inbetween.

Okay I agree only because it follows the same research (which is true) that you can understand words with letters missing. And after having read that above, I am not convinced, but the problem is that you're not used to it so it takes damn long...
