A global variable is a variable anything running in a preset has access to. You can set global variables by using the cod reg00-99=variable to store, were 00-99 is the number used to identify each variable. You can check a global variable by clicking on Main in the side bar and entering the number (00-99) of the global variable in one of the boxes. After you set a global variable in one your effects, you can then use it in any of you other effects just like any other variable. I don't know how order affects global variables, but I'm sure the best way to use them if you are going to would be to put an n=0 superscope or anyother editable effect and then set your global variables either by frame or on beat.
About the preset, it looks kinda nice, but it isn't very interesting.
