It has begun =(

Ugh. The great Northwest fall/winter has begun. Say goodbye to the Sun, folks, it will be awhile before you see it again. Damn Washington state. Miserable shitty climate. I WANT OUT!!!

corkhead0 17th September 2003 03:03

Yup, we had snow today in Edmonton.

DragonSon 17th September 2003 04:09

Damn. Well, you won't be alone, us over here on the East Coast are supposed to have a lousy Winter as well. Last year we got smashed with 24 inches of the white stuff. I HATE snow, but LOVE winter.

pixiefied 17th September 2003 05:05

ya i know shyshy. to day in granite falls we got 1 1/2 inches of hail in less than an hour! its been rainy and cold the last 5 days.

but im glad i dont live in north carolina right now!

ShyShy 17th September 2003 06:52

Today it was Overcast, drenching rain, blue skies, over and over again. And sooooo many accidents on I5. "The great news is that the Ski season is supposed to be really awesome this year!" I don't ski.

Now would be a good time to learn then, no?

Over here in the UK, we are basking in an unusually hot September, people are still out in shorts and tshirts, a mini heatwave if you will.

Personally I can't wait for autumn/winter to break, I much prefer the dark, cooler , how shall we say, "grim" days and nights. I just don't get on with the sun :D

Mr_007 17th September 2003 09:28

Oh!
winter coming!
cold and snowy!

s1138 17th September 2003 13:11

bright and sunny 95 degrees out today in georgia :)

Coman 17th September 2003 19:31

Ditto. Winter gives me more energy somehow.

Nah, bad enough I sound like a hick, no need to live like one! Ugh, winter just means that I have to go shopping for winter clothes, I hate shopping.

/me quickly kisses sarge's ass. But I wasn't referring to you directly:cry: I'm sorry, please, please, please, pretty please with you on top, forgive me?

sgtfuzzbubble011 20th September 2003 01:04

...please with you on top...
That could be arranged. :)

And just for future reference, Pix is the hick here, not me. ;)

godoncrack 20th September 2003 01:26

i believe she was refering to me sarge

sgtfuzzbubble011 20th September 2003 01:31

Oh... Yeah, you're a hick too. Forgot about that. :p

Shhhh!!!! Pix musn't find out! I respectfully fear the wrath of the Pixie. :D

And just for clarification for y'all, I wasn't referring to anyone in particular. I was reading this joke:

"How Are a Texas Tornado And a Tennessee Divorce The Same?
Somebody's Gonna Lose A Trailer"

right before reading your post, sarge. Soooo, I had the whole redneck/hick thing going on my mind. And I had the country music playing too:cool:

godoncrack 20th September 2003 03:12

*damns Shyshy for her taste of music

ryan 20th September 2003 04:41

IT's been getting kind of cool here lately, not too much.. but it's not hot like it has been.. (I love in Middle Tn) Was cloudy most of today.. Around 70 degrees.

pixiefied 20th September 2003 05:22

lemmie get one thing straight..sarge is a REDNECK. he has the trophy to prove it! :P I on the other hand am a HICK... i live in the sticks and eat small animals. my children run around barefooted in the summer and i have bloody marys for breakfast.
now..
sarge wrestles alligaters and drives a back hoe
i eat squirrels and drive a chevy
sarge has towels over his windows
i have blinds that have been bent on the sides for spying
sarge has a trophy to boast his redneck image
i have animal fur drying on my porch

i hope i have made it all clear for everyone...
godoncrack, you have anything to add? :)

laz 20th September 2003 17:44

Well, Here, it is still to damn hot for me. I prefer fall weather over every other season. It is nice, cold, dark, gloomy. And that makes me really happy for some reason. And the bright sunny days make me sad and or mad and such.
I am odd, I know.
And, no I am not a hick, but I do live in a state that has a crapload of hicks for being so up north.

godoncrack 20th September 2003 18:07

One: I haven't seen sarges trophy.
Two: The only animal remains drying on my porch are bones(mostly skulls).
Three: I use blankets.
Four: I too have a chevy and drive it like i stole it
Five: The unfinished beer(monkey piss) is a much better balanced breakfast than bloody marys.
Six: I prefer winter followed closely by autum, just me.

pixiefied 20th September 2003 18:46

but we werent talking about you... sarge has a littly trophy that says "redneck of the year" on it.

That's only because you gave it to me. :p

1) I do not wrestle alligators. My last name isn't Irwin.
2) I drive a Chevy, too, when I'm not in my backhoe.
3) I never had towels over my window. It was a blanket. But that was replaced with aluminum foil recently. :p:D
4) And I have venetian blinds to hide the foil... ;)
5) See first quote in this post.
6) I don't have any dead animals on my front porch.

pixiefied 20th September 2003 19:44

but you earned it!! :D

ShyShy 20th September 2003 23:31

Today's weather: Just freaking beautiful outside, the only thing that would've made today just absolutely perfect was a ride on the back of a motorcycle. :(

Yamaha YZF R6! Go!

I love to go jet skiing. It's one of the funnest things to do in the world!

Shenlong 24th September 2003 23:11

I can't wait for winter...Out of the whole 12-month year, it seems like the snow only lasts for around 2-months during the 3-month winter session, so I tend to like it a bit more than summer weather...Icy roads usually lead to disaster with dumbass drivers, but if I can get an icy back road with no dumbasses, it'd be a nice place to practice ice drifting in my car and go-kart... :D

whiteflip 25th September 2003 11:35

Im thinking about migrating south for the winter. My nose is already runny and the only way to stop it is to turn up the heat/humidity or take drugs.

Shenlong 25th September 2003 20:47

I'd say drugz, d00d... :D

sgtfuzzbubble011 25th September 2003 22:41

*agrees with Shenlong*

Its all in your mind.

ShyShy 28th September 2003 02:49

Murphy's law strikes. Ever since I started this thread, the weather has been very nice. Today was another gorgeous day.

sgtfuzzbubble011 28th September 2003 03:32

It poured down earlier today. Loved it. :D

ShyShy 28th September 2003 04:14

Don't get me wrong,I like rain. There's nothing better on a rainy day than to sit with the fireplace going, watching classic movies on the tube, snuggled under a blanket. What I hate about it here, is the constant overcast and gloominess during the winter time.

sgtfuzzbubble011 28th September 2003 23:10

I absolutely love overcast and gloominess. That's some of the best weather there is. I'd much rather have that than what I've got. You're spoiled and you just don't know it. :)

pixiefied 28th September 2003 23:38

the weather around here has been so unpredictable! its like 90 degrees today and 39 degrees at night!

sgtfuzzbubble011 29th September 2003 03:02

Well, here... it's 90 degrees in the day, and 87 degrees at night. And the humidity varies between 80% and 103%.

No joke.
