Ogg Vorbis Stream Skipping
 

I am streaming sound in ogg vorbis format using ices and icecast and listening to the stream on Winamp 2. I am streaming over a lan.

The problem is the stream continues to buffer every so often and disrupt the sound. The stream is delivered at 20 Khz at 24 Kbps. Not very demanding parameters.

How can I fix this skipping problem.

I tried increasing the buffer size with the only effect of delaying the buffering.
