Soundcard Input troubles
 

I can connect to my shoutcast server no problems, and my mic works in all other programs, but as soon as i select SoundCard Input, i get troubles. The Input levels just freeze and i get disconnected from the server. I followed all the steps w/ Playing music w/ the mic, but still same error, i am running winamp 2.91 and shoutcast v. 1.8.2b. Let me know what to do.. i've tried so many different things, with no success...

What make/model soundcard do you have?

Did switching input methods ever work well?

My soundcard is built into my motherboard.. The board is ASUS and i can use my mic in all other programs.. The problem is that once i select SoundCard input, i disconnect from the server, and my input levels stop moving.

Is the built-in soundcard AC97 based?

Does the problem persist if you use a different encoder?

AC97 based?? And yes the problem persists on all encoders.
