I'm so annoyed at myself - I've put my cellphone down somewhere in the house, and now I can't find it at all. It must be somewhere, but I've tried looking everywhere. And it isn't.

What's even worse is that firstly it was on silent (yes, I thought of ringing it); and now the battery in it is dead, so I can't get a GSM wave detecting keyring and search for it that way. Argh!

Stop looking. That's how i find things.

Good plan. That's what I've done - it's most likely in my house, therefore I'm going to not look for it. I don't really need it, anyway - all I really do is make and receive joke texts...

Actually, not looking for it doesn't seem to make any difference - I'm still not finding it....

Sods law dictates that I'll break down while travelling through the middle of nowhere between my work and home, and then will actually need it.

am i the only one in this world who does NOT use a cellphone?

Speaking of cell phones, I've lost my cell phone charger. Now that's a bitch. There it is, tempting me, with no charge. And my car charger's in CA (I'm in FL right now).

Ah well, I've ordered a new one, and it should arrive today.

I own one but i don't use it. It's just a portable phone book to get numbers when i need them.

I use mine every now and then. I don't use it all the time. It's wonderful in an emergency... invaluable even.

Duh.. I don't get it.

hhhmmmm...maybe a British thing. Goes like this;

If you have lost something and you know it's in the damn house somewhere, look for something else. Sod's law states that you will not find what you are looking for, but you will find something else you lost before.....and it's usually in the fridge. Why the fridge? Simple, things end up in the fridge after you come home from the pub/bar. You make yourself something to eat and put your fixings back in the fridge...however, you'll find your mobile phone in the fridge and the butter and cheese in your jacket pocket.....hhhmmmmmm....this just happens to me, dosen't it?:weird:

Uh... yeah. It must be a British thing. I've never put my phone in the fridge. And I've never ended up with butter in my pocket. :weird:

Yeah, i have never done that either sarge and i am British.

I found it eventually.. I'd left it in the garage with the tools last time I was working on the car; and when I went to get the tools again to remove the fuel pump -there it was!

See! See! I was bloody right! Look for something else and you'll find what you need! I am not a freak!:D
