CDDB "Not installed?"
 

I have winamp 2.91 lite and whenever I play an audio CD, winamp gives me the CDDB lookup dialog box but it says "CDDB is not installed" so none of my music is tagged. Is there a way to fix this without getting a denser version of Winamp 2?

Try doing a complete uninstall as outlined here (there is more here than you think) before reinstalling. You should be able to use cddb w/ lite.

cddb is only included with the standard or full version, not lite.

Prefs -> Plugins -> Input -> CD plugin -> config:
Uncheck: use cddb

Or if you wanna use it, install Winamp standard.
