avs2.7pre8 + wa5beta

GET IT HERE

I like it, especially docking AVS into the main player. Furthermore we can size avs now again as we want. YAY! :D

Overall good job, Nullsoft. :)

Btw, no idea whats new to avs2.7pre8 :(

Magrakamajira 17th October 2003 12:56

I downloaded that from Will's thread at GD, but the installer was broken :( Maybe this one works

sidd 17th October 2003 14:44

go to Preferences/Classic Skins and check the Smooth Window Resizing box.

I like it :D. btw. What are the superspecial advanced features you get when you buy winamp 5 pro?

Yathosho 18th October 2003 12:40

click on winamp pro in the preferences or read this

Deamon 18th October 2003 14:18

I was reffering to this line:

Have access to the latest Winamp 5 Pro features....

Deamon 19th October 2003 08:26

Too late to edit :S.

Does anyone know how to open the Thinger? It's there when you use some WA3 skins, though it isn't normally there in the default modern skin.

Zevensoft 19th October 2003 13:49

What we REALLY need are dualhead options for AVS.

dirkdeftly 19th October 2003 16:53

dualhead?

Zevensoft 19th October 2003 22:18

Multimon, extended desktop, etc.

blazer1504 20th October 2003 15:12

hmm.. i'm prolly' gonna stick with my wa2x unless there comes some major changes to AVS (the only reason I use winamp anyway :P )..

One Whish here:

I've been used to open the AVS-Editor by doubleclick for ages now and suddenly this function has been replaced with a quick-fullscreen one.

So the only way to open the Editor is via the context menu. Not only do i dislike this because opening and closing the editor in a quick way is now impossible, but i fear that a lot of newbies might not even discover this function and therefore not know that you can customize / create your own presets.

Solution: a nicely designed "Editor" Button on the AVS Skin

Example:

I think there some cool stuff with it, I like the new examples, and I think the help guides will be good.
I think it will also be cool to toy around with th ColorModifer:)
I do agree with Magic.x's opinion about the Editor button.

But over all I think its great! :D

Deamon 30th October 2003 07:22

I agree totally with Magic.X as well, it's kinda annoying as well. That button would be really cool.

And to Blazer1504: There are some major changes coming to AVS.
