Rename Freedom
 

Windows Media Player will allow me to rename a track whilst I am listening to it, and it will allow me to move it to another folder if I wish.

Do you think Winamp 5 would ever have this capability?

I don't know about "whilst listening to it" (I suppose WMP does it by creating a temp file, similar to when you edit the id3v2 tag of a playing file in Winamp) . . . but you can right click an entry in ML and select "explore item folder" and then do what you want from there.

Hopefully, more features like this are coming . . . it's early days yet.
But for now, there's a fair few plugins available which can do that kinda thing, probably some are listed here.

File Handler does what I want, lets just hope Nullsoft implement it in the future :)
