Passing The Buck
When things happen, do you take the responsibility? Is it your fault when things happen to you? When shit hits the fan, what's your first action?
I guess what I mean is, do you blame others for your situation? Or do you blame yourself? Who's fault is it? Or, adversly, is it no ones fault? Or everyone's fault? Where do you lay blame when shit goes down? |
I accept responsibility if its fault, and sometimes i like to take the blame too because i hate to see my freinds get into shit.
|
I blame shit on Bush since he's pretty much responsible for all kinds of crap.
When shit hits the fan I usually get stuck washing the walls. |
I'll take the responsibilty in my personal life for the schmuck jobs I've done and will do.
But at work, it's always the insurances and lab's fault :D |
I'll give you the story behind the question.
Dude Dan works behind the Seafood counter and is always blaming problems on other people. He's bitching because he caught a "secret Shopper" and was failed because the Deli Manager was trying to move his schedule around. My first response was "well, you should have told her (deli Manager) to stop a minute while you helped the customer." "But she was unstoppable!!" "Then you should have let her cry about whatever and then told your boss." "By then it would be too late!" "Not really, Dan. Since she was infringing on your schedule after it was posted, which they aren't supposed to do anyway, your boss could've put it back." "Whatever. You just don't understand." "Oh I understand the situation." "Then why don't you understand that it's her fault that I got written up by the 'secret shopper'"? "Because you let her get to you. If you had just chilled and waited, you wouldn't have been written up." I don't know. The guy just likes to blame other people for his problems. And we don't get along very well anyway, because we both have an answer for everything. |
