Express Yourself

How do you express yourself to others? What is the best way for you to get your feelings across? Do you write a long letter, sit the person down, draw a picture, write a song?
What's the best way for you to get your feelings across?

SemiTechGeek 26th October 2003 02:45

i do the exact opposite. I sit there and listen to other people's problems and see how it affects me

Fickle 26th October 2003 02:47

I've been called a good listener, but normally other peoples problems fuck up my own.
Don't ask me why..

k_rock923 26th October 2003 02:47

i write letters and play music. playing my sax will always make me feel better

randman 26th October 2003 02:49

I bang my helmet on the wall. The one I have to wear. Really.

Same here. To be honest, it hurts for me to talk to people. I just feel tired and feel like i'm being interrorgated for some odd reason, anyhoo that's all i can do is listen and figure it out somehow, fun eh?

White Raven 26th October 2003 02:50

I write poetry... A lot of the time I don't express myself too readily to people...

ElChevelle 26th October 2003 02:54

I take to the defense unfortunately.
Typically people love working for me because I make it worth their while in one way or another.

ryan 26th October 2003 02:59

I play really loud music (I don't phisically play the music, just music, as in music you play with winamp :P)

godoncrack 26th October 2003 02:08

I dont
The majority of the people I've met wouldn't understand.
I'm not trying to sound eltieist or anything.
Experience
I've tryied to open up to people, be expressive and all that shit
And the few people i've inflicted it on
Came back with a "derrrrrr" look
So I just ignore people for the most part
Its not worth it to waste my time with people

Dr SemiTechGeek of University Hospital says....

If you want, i'll listen.

Dr. SemiTechGeek

godoncrack 26th October 2003 02:19

Which university?

SemiTechGeek 26th October 2003 02:20

University of Techtopia

Germ 26th October 2003 02:21

Well it's probably because you take your morales and values from heavy metal lyrics and try your hardest to live your life by them, Godoncrack.

BullGawD 26th October 2003 02:24

I'm a mixture - I'm an extreme extrovert, but, like godoncrack have become somewhat disillusioned through experience. So there're two answers.

On the one hand, I'm the ultimate projects guy. Compilations (ala High Fidelity), jewelry boxes, musical or graphical (or hell, even culinary) compositions. Still am in many ways I guess, given the time I spend revising posts and whatnot.

But mostly you either get me or you don't. My fiance gets me, and a few of my friends do. But like goc said, most just don't follow, or have religious or political or some sort of hang up. Doesn't mean we don't get along, just that at some point they're likely to give a damn about something I don't, and whoops! I'll get that long sideways stare. :)

godoncrack 26th October 2003 02:25

Germ, you hammer on that like its the truth.
I could try to pigeonhole you as a poor, lonely, pathetic boy who tries to get a rise out of people hundreds of miles away because he is addicted to the attention.
I don't because I could care less.
You are who you are and you'll never change.
And that makes me happier than you'll know. :D

To SemitechGeek, i just wanted to make sure it wasn't any university from Missisippi.

SemiTechGeek 26th October 2003 02:26

???

him or me? i'm confused

godoncrack 26th October 2003 02:28

I edited it for clarity.

SemiTechGeek 26th October 2003 02:31

Dr. SemiTechGeek says.......

Thankie Thankie

Dr. SemiTechGeek-(Not a real doctor but might as well be)

Germ 26th October 2003 02:31

Aw, did you hear that in a Disturbed song?

BullGawD 26th October 2003 02:33

images, though, do possess a certain charm as a means of communication.

godoncrack 26th October 2003 02:35

No, Germ.
You are just that obvious.

Fickle 26th October 2003 02:53
