Not bad, not bad. I wouldn't say it was top-drawer, the vocals and music aren't a perfect match.

In the league of dark-wave, it must be second division.... well below Xymox, Curve, Numan himself.

But not bad.

everybody has their own views and opinions, but how come you
find it as that? i think the vocals matches perfectly within the music.
with all the synth and other sounds they create, i think the singer
has to be enough brave to join the thing. but as i said all of us
have our own views and opinions about things. :)
maybe you could spread the word of this band?

I've listened to the album twice now.... I like the walls of synth and the atmospherics. The vocals aren't bad I suppose, but they could be sexier and a bit breathier. The percussion seems to be flat on most of the tracks, odd for a dark-wave album.

But it's a tease of an album, I'll be hearing it more this week. Thanks for that privilege dramatica.

BTW, this band must have been influenced by Curve.

dramatica 30th October 2003 00:40

no problem, it was a pleasure to share this. :)
and yes..one of their influences are Curve, indeed.

the band isn't on any label, so they record and mix their songs
all by themselfes. so that might have something to do with the
percussion..but i'm not sure.

hopefully you enjoyed the album.

they have also released a new demo called "Blue",
which can be downloaded from here

More treats!:)

I believe the future lies with internet artists. I'll have to add a Birthday Massacre link to my sig.;) The album grows on me daily - this is the kind of stuff that would've been successful from 88 - 92. You'd have spotted Robert Smith at gigs.

I will admit, this band have more energy than Curve do right now. They're younger and fresher though. Anyway, back to work for 5 minutes (4 or 5 minutes).

and by the way, if you don't have anything against other msg boards,
you should check out their official message board at here

the band members (or some of them) browses the board, which is
kind of nice of a band, they interact with their fans quite nicely..

and just by wanting to be updated, that message board is the right place. :)

Anyone into darkwave should check these lot out (link at the top). The whole album's available on their website. A very Curve-y band.:)
