utopy or reality?
 

I imagined a software that would be very useful to me (and to everyone with the same problem...): many of my mp3s appear on winamp as "unknown artist - track x", even though the filename states both artist and song name. It would take a looooooooooot of dedication and patience (which i don't have ;)) to correct file by file, so i wandered if there was any program that would fill the id3 tag with the info in song's filename........

Does anybody know such a program (or any other way to fix my problem)??

MusicMatch Jukebox will do this, but you have to buy the full version to get this feature.

You could re rip the songs with a ripper that does this.
CDnGo does.
I forgot the link to it as i have had it for a few years now.
