winamp 2.80 Skin Problems
 

:cry: I can't get any skins that I download to work. All the ones I've downloaded are .WAL files and my winamp uses .WSZ files for skins. What the hell? :mad:

.WAL are Winamp3 skins.
.WSZ are Winamp2 skins.

You can't use Winamp3 skins in Winamp2. Though, I suggest trying Winamp 5(currently at Beta 2) which you can use both formats and still have the power of the Winamp2 core.

In case you are wondering, Winamp 2 skins (WSZ files) can be found at http://classic.winamp.com/skins/

Also, keep in mind that beta versions of Winamp do not receive tech support.

Neither do old versions (ie. 2.80) ;)
