Could not see station- HELP
 

i had run a radio on winamp 2 but cuz of my firewall ppl cant see the server on the net.:(
I know some ppl can run their station even if they have firewall.
i cant disable firewall cuz its on my router.:cry:
how can i do it?from me to server and server to shoutcast?

What brandname router do you have?

Are you on WindowsXP?

I run on win 98 but i also have win xp but dont think it will work there.
I have d-link dl-604
and i have dsl from sympatico

8001 - private to 8000 public (tcp)?
or witch one?

My private port :8000
public port : 8001
Protocol type :TCP (i have 3 options UDP or TCP or Both)
its ok TCP?
Private IP: my ip that the router gave me , i went to run - command - ipconfig and i have Ip adress , subnet mask , default gateway.
I chose ip adress.
AND THE NAME: i dont think the name its important
That will be all.
If u can help me i can send screen shots with my page of config of router

Are you getting any errors in the DNAS log?

I dont get any errors
Now im on xp
in network connection i have internet gateway and settings suck as:
this thing with forwarding but i cant see the one i created in the router options(in http://x.x.x.x for router)
Virtual Server Winamp - always (the server i created)
but i add it with the setting in both sides and it still dosent work .
I dont know why the hell i keep have this problem after all the ***** i've done. Manul , u guyz and rest
