What's your "why?"
 

I find my life is a hell of a lot better when I have something to look forward to. Right now it's going upstate and seeing some friends that I haven't seen in awhile. The problem is that when I get back, I'll have nothing to look forward to except a concert at the end of the month.
But even that should sustain me. I seem to have to make a bunch of little things to look forward to otherwise I get bored and start chewing on my wrists like a trapped animal.

What keeps you motivated?

That there might be something better around the corner for my and my girlfriend.

I must survive long enough to witness the alien landing.

Most definately my children. They are what keeps me going everyday.

Looking foward to what my girlfriend and I are gonna do each friday always keeps my life happy (we usually go to the movies and have some fun at the mall).

Getting to play with heavy equipment every day. :D

I'm not motivated, my studying seems pointless, my life is depressing.

looking forward to happiness i might have one day and working on trying to make it come true. there are a lot of things i want to try, see, get, understand in the world yet. all i have is to look forward to them and enjoy some of the present, where there isn't much to enjoy right now.

The drive to succeed. Just that. Doesn't matter what at. Just succeeding. That's all. Am I rambling? Whoops. Done it again. Succeeded at rambling :D

I'm 5 weeks into my degree, so as far as my studies go, its a long way off.

However, my motivation stems from the awsome time i'm having here, coupled with my intrest in my courses.

Seems pretty precarious, so we'll have to see how things pan out.

umm, friends. altough at the moment im not being a very good friend, the fact that they're still being supportive and kind and whatever helps me to keep going.

Most definately my 3 kids and the need to make sure they are safe.

To see a better day in human life, to get a girlfriend, to get laid, to get better friends... but not soo much in the short term...

The thought that someday I'll be able to be with my boyfriend is motivation enough to get up in the mornings and take on the day. Some days it's tough, but everybody has rough patches. Just the thought that one day I have the chance at being happy lets me go on with life. I thank him. ^_^
That's my motivation...

I have money to make and things to spend it on.

The thought that I'd royally screw up with my daughter keeps me going. I don't want to fail her :)

The continual daily desire to stay clean.

Knowing that there is still much that I haven't seen in the world and that one day I might do something great. O and the need to get laid. :)

Hmm, what keeps me alive is just the thrill of life. Think about it, there's nothing that's more exciting than not knowing what the next day will bring.

Sod happiness, sod everything. Live for tomorrow, and maybe tomorrow will bring you want. Maybe not, but that's life ;).

That's one of the major things I hate about where I work now. I really don't know exactly what I'm going to be doing from day to day, most of the time. Bad project management.

Oh well, I had fun today though. I got to play around on that Cat EL240B that I love so much. Great machine. :D

Why do I work? So that I can buy stuff, like food, clothing and shelter and stereo equipment. As for the larger picture... I don't know. What else am I going to do, but live my life and see what happens..?
