Have you ever teased someone that you thought you knew well, and they took it entirely too personally, and hated you for it?
Or to a lesser extent, have you ever teased someone and felt bad about it later?

Yes, a few times. Times that I'd like to forget. I've learned from it, though. Now, I tend to bite my tongue a lot. That helps keep me from sticking my foot in my mouth and looking like a complete ass most of the time.

Same friend, every time, can never take a joke and causes many large pointless arguments over the smallest things.

I do this sometimes, but it's only because I remember stupid shit like when somebody told me I was a loser, but can barely remember a hot girls name that actually seemed interested in me.
Fucking brain. I should get a new one. With an LCD.

I'm (almost) always an ass...The only way I can piss them off by acting so is if they're already in a bad mood, in which I'm of no help at all...

I'm bad with people in shitty moods. I feel bad for them if they're all sad and depressed, I get angry at them when they're pissed.

I'm a kind of guy that will act like an ass even when I'm in a bad mood, because that then makes me feel good...I'm hardly ever in a bad mood, so that's probably why even when people are having their bad times, I might become a big annoyance to them...

eh sometimes, usally i'll look back at when i'm in a bad mood and ask " why the hell did i do that?"

i guess you just have different points of view with different emotions

i've always been good at <insert foot in mouth>. i made a friend once when i was 9 in portuguese school, and we teased each other a bit but it was fine. then i tried explaining to his mother in portuguese how well i got along with his son, and it came out entirely wrong and she beat the crap out of the kid in front of everyone, parents and students.

needless to say we weren't really friends after that.
