I have been sitting on this issue for a while because I felt that it was too rare for it to affect most Winamp users. However, with new releases of software to go along with Winamp, I thought this might be of some concern.

I purchased an ATI all in wonder card with a RF remote control and pre-programmed Winamp INI. I must say it is one of the best additions to winamp that I have ever used. However I found a glitch in winamp 2.x (and probably 3.x) that maybe now might be fixed.

With remote controls becoming more and more used along with the XP media Center edition (with remote control support through out the OS), maybe the dev's could look into this issue.

The problem that I found lies in the plug-ins option. If you are to use the plug-in option at full screen, the plug-in window becomes the open window in XP, and at which point does not allow the RF remote control to be used. The reason is due to the coding of the remote controls. Because the remotes rely on the winamp control panel being the open window, the plug-in window hinders that setup because it must over-come the winamp control to become full screen. Of course the keyboard shortcuts work, and although this is still a minor flaw, it may become important for later use. Let me just also add that this tiny flaw is probably going to affect any RF remote control.
