please help a new newbie

does anybody know of any software that allows you to crossfade tracks and burn them to cd cos im really struggling. ive tried pcdj but that doesnt seem to allow you to burn them/only listen as a playlist...help would be appreciated a lot.:)

randman 11th November 2003 21:07

You can do that with Nero.

carl4amy 11th November 2003 21:23

tried, but it burns them as individual tracks and not crossfaded!

randman 11th November 2003 21:35

See if this from Nero's FAQ's helps.

um....... you could make it into one file then crossfade in between the songs then burn it........ just a thought :) i think i did something like that with EAC(Exact Audio Copy) without the crossfading part :)

You can do that with Roxio Easy CD Creator.

Winamp 5.0 Final Pro ???
[edit]fading is over rated. if a song doesnt know how to begin and/or end its an unfinished song. crossfading is ok.[/edit]

Is there really a difference between a new newbie and an old newbie?:p

Kinetik* 12th November 2003 13:28

Haha. I was just thinking that, Chev.

I was considering posting a thread entitled "Please help an old newbie".

My friend over here is claiming to be an old newbie. So I don't know.

In the late eighties, New Kids on the Block switched to Old Kids on the Block, so somehow this rift in the logic-time continuum actually makes sense.

Or does it?

How is it that the Winamp forums are also tech-support for every other program on the planet?

...

I've got it! Winamp users are smarter than other people. :D

I'm pretty certain I answered this one via PM.

Recommended using SqrSoft ACF Disk Writer plugin to crossfade and write to WAV, then to burn resulting WAV with regular burning software.

If I remember rightly, this suggestion got a big thumbs up.
