Wayfiercetv Is Up And Running

After hours of reading and being determined to do this.
WAYFIERCETV has been born. I had to get a comercial account at Time Warner to upstream 512k and use a fast computer processor to get the video to work and i used dazzle video creator 80 to capture the video. Now we are broadcasting 24/7 with programming. If anyone
wants there stuff shown on WAYFIERCETV you can e mail me and i will
give ya an address to send it to. VHS and DVD formats as of now NTSC.

Hi everyone:

How fast is your Interrnet connection? I'm on a cable modem, but your station plays for a few seconds and then buffers again. It just buffers and buffers over and over again. :-(

Looks as though you still have some issues to resolve.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news BUT....

Cheers for now :-)

Hey do you have a listing of the stuff cause I say a girl playing the guitar , the guitr was black and there was a guy playing bass and drums, what is the name of the song or the group? They were pretty good. Umm also its buffering for me too.

Hi everryone:

It still buffers Nick. What is your UPLOAD speed? Remember, this is DIFFERENT than your overall bandwidth. Plus, how many people are you trying to stream to simultaneously?

My upload speed is 256K (even though my download speed is 1.8 GB) and I can only stream to 3 people (maybe 4 if I pushed it) at 64K. Take a look at my station (listed as KPDC Internet TV) and you'll see what I mean.

One other thing to keep in mind Nick, you WILL NOT be able to stream a video with a frrame rate similar to local playback. Some stations, such as XRM-TV, can do this because they have MUCH bigger pipes than we do (and they pay for 'em to!). This means you'll have to reduce trhe frame rate to even LOWER than 15 fps. (I have my vids set a 5 fps. and so far I seem to be doing well them - at least I hope :-)).

You may also have to reduce the screen size as well. Experiment around with it. :)

Beyond that, I think you may want to re-read the Tutorials again.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers for now :)
