LOL:D that could be a great weapon, cept you wouldnt know where it would go.
just hold it above your head, and turn it on :D |
Video wasn't as great as I thought, although the one cd that traversed the room like 3 times was pretty cool. Dman that thing had to have a ton of inertia...
|
I wouldn't want to get hit by an exploding CD;) .

The CD thing happened to my friend's StarCraft CD once. His computer crashed while the CD was starting to load, but the DVD-ROM drive kept going faster and faster until eventually, there was a huge explosion in the drive and the CD ended-up in a million pieces...
|
Talk about WMD's (weapons of mass destruction)...just hold it above your head; especially dangerous if you could figure out a way to power it in a large crowd.
|
they already tested this on Mythbuters on the Discovery Channel. Also the CD fragments don't do any real damage. a guy on the show was hit by a shard, and it didn't even break the skin.

monday, im gonna try it when no ones home...:)

Lmao, here's another few things not to do related to computers:
Don't mess with the BIOS (I have 1 motherboard with a blank BIOS now, "It wasn't my computer either :o") Don't swap power supplies EVEN if you know they are 100% cross compatible (I now have a blown PSU a screwed VGA and probably alot of other devices went with it too, "not my computer that time too") FYI: They are my parents computers, :igor: but we're talking 586's here so not that bad... All in a days work, literally :( |
