WA5 rc8, video seeking and in_mod
 

Often when I try to seek forward into a video file in WA5 the playback just kind of stop. This does not happen with WMP9.

Also, the in_mod has not gotten any updates for quite a while..

Just wondering if these two tings will change in the near future?
Besides that, WA is the greatest player i've ever seen.

Are the video formats non-seekable WMV files?
If so, this is a known bug
(the seekbar should be disabled for non-seekable wmv)

in_mod was originally developed by Jake Stine (mikmod) and then further developed by Peter Pawlowski. However, PP is no longer developing for Winamp.
If any updates are required, then they will hopefully be dealt with accordingly by the Winamp dev team . . . *gulp* ;)

the last maintainer of in_mod was (is?) X-Fixer

Yeah, I'm not sure what's happening on that score.
Haven't seen X-Fixer here for a while.

Though the current in_mod v2.2.10beta29 is still listed on X-Fixer's site,
along with the blow-up build.

Maybe he'll see this thread and post something eh ?!

Perhaps X-Fixer cold finalise the current version and include it with WA5? It's always good to see a plugin dated the current year.
