compatability with XPpro
 

ok i thought i read everything on te site. i installed it all , i configured it, just as teh read me thing said to do. and all it does is say 'conecting', never 'conected'. the one thing i noticed after looking again is XPpro isnt specificaly listed as compatable...

i guesss my first question would be : does anyone know if i can broadcast on shoutcast with win xp PRO?

I think that the XP version of the DSP and DNAS work with XPpro.

What are you putting the DJ plug in > Output tab > Address box?

Are you getting any errors?

Are the files you're trying to play MP3s?

in the address box i entered the ipi given on the Read me doc that came with the installer ( 192.168.1.100 ) the port is 8000 and the password seems to have been preset

i have recieved no error messages at all.

all the files i am trying to play are mp3.

and the input meters on the SHOUTcast source window do register when it is playing.

If the server and source are on the same machine, put localhost into the address box in the SHOUTcast Source (WinAmp).

yes the server and the source are both on my PC.

i changed the addressbox to local

now the status on the input tab is flashing between conecting and disconecting.

also i am showing that nothing is being uploaded through my internet conection.

I'm on Windows XP Pro. It's all fine.

What's showing up in the DNAS log?

by the way i like ur station..... once i get mine to work ill be broadcasting Trance too but also Romanian Club/dance
