Problems getting Broadcast working on winamp
 
Crystal Radio Tring to connect
ON Cable 2.56 megs up stream
corp account
im on router no fire wall do i need to open a fowarding port? im using the same default router for my system 1 ip as shoutcast is on the set up listed below

is there another number to place on shout cast to broadcast?

ok im not serving, but im Wanting to broadcast and the sytem will not work it never has for me, i have all the new up dated system that it is called for on win amp win amp 2 the on on the site with this
from the read me file this is the information im using
DSP 1.8.2

Get ahold of the following required information:

* SHOUTcast server IP address (of the form 192.168.1.100 or shoutcast-server.domain.com)
* SHOUTcast server IP address (usually 8000)
* SHOUTcast server broadcast password (the "Password" config item on the server's config file)
* The speed you want to broadcast at. Check the following table for suggested speeds for different
types of connections to the internet:

I did all of this and nothing worked :eek:

i dont have a server im broadcasting im not serving it
normaly id be like da ok ill give all info but im a little more advanced to know a server log. come on that gives all informations to accses computer pass and all no way i posted the problem im a little lery of passing that kind of informations in the first place

im am just going to broadcast not serv not right now till i set my linux server up i dont serv on a windows system its crap

no server no broadcasting simple as that

using copy and paste on the log --> before posting you can leave out info that you don't want on the net

and we are here to help NOT to hack your system.

basicly shout cast needs to up date web site?
 
ok for some reason the oreder your telling me shoutcast needs to up date there site before i can broadcast then, they need to set web up for better explaining on broadcasting, what im seeing here if this is not how it is to be set up now on the site and i have to run server this needs to be posted on the site, no wonder i see post of others being confused as i was, live 365 is easier then this sorry but see it as its there
