What is your advice for AIDSIAN people?

When you hear one person has AIDS, Do you live a lone that person or like him/her & you will have contact with him/her?

although it was shaba who made this thread, it is a serious issue. In the US, this is national AIDS week. My school is displaying a section from the AIDS quilt in the auditorium. This is one of the largest epedemics in American history and it doesn't look like its stopping anytime soon. Just think of how horrible your life could become. Get drunk one day do some stupid stuff like have unproteced sex, BAM, you could have AIDS and you're stuck with it for the rest of your now shortened life. This is a serious issue and although shaba probably started it for the wrong reasons, it should be taken slightly more seiously than it has been so far.

Good grief the man is a pest. Doesn't he accept that he just isn't wanted here? We obviously have tolerance, but... Isn't he stretching the bounds a little too far?

Going to an outdoor rock concert by the Great Lawn at the Waterfront Park downtown with my dad and cousins, we took a street that was blocked off of traffic by police...Not knowing anything about what was going on, we walked down that street until we found ourselves walking next to a group of over a hundred or so people that were in an AIDS walk...Apparently, they were walking in the same direction as where we wanted to go, so we kinda did our support for a cure for AIDS when we didn't even have AIDS, nor care for it at the time... :rolleyes: :p

There's a pretty simple way to avoid that, don't get so drunk as to not know what you're doing. It's amazing how stupid people can be, if only they'd use a little common sense and think before acting. Alcohol doesn't make you do anything, it just lowers your inhibitions and makes it easier to do things you want to do but normally hold back. Kinda like those college girls that do a train with the frat boys while drunk one night. She didn't do it because she was drunk, she did it because she's a slut and the alcohol just made it easier for her to act out what she's always felt.

What he banned for anyway? :confused:
