I Am So Nervous!
 

A friend of mine here attends art school, and I'm helping him with one of his projects tomorrow. He's doing this little humorous film clip about the California gubernatorial race, set to the music and re-written lyrics of "The Phantom of The Opera." He said he wanted a soprano who could really sing, and he asked me. I was flattered, and happily agreed to help him out with the voice-overs. That made me nervous enough. Here's the part that's making me even more nervous...
He just called me and said that the girl who was supposed to play the part of Arianna Huffington in the film was in a car accident, so she won't be able to do it. He asked if I minded doing it, because they can't find anyone else on such short notice! I agreed to do it. It'll be fun, especially since I've never done anything like this before. I get full credit for my work! It's just making me nervous! I haven't acted since I was in high school!

Don't be nervous, go to it, I have faith in you! Give it all you've got, and have fun too!

That was truely inspiring! LMAO!
I did it! And it was as much fun as it was educational! I didn't realize how much went into video and audio production!
Doing the vocal tracks took the most time, because we had problems with the sound booth. We ended up rigging a mic from outside the booth, and using a portable CD player with headphones to hear the music.
The actually filming was more fun than I imagined it would be! We ended up doing lots of takes to get different angles, and because the guy playing Schwarzenegger and I were making everyone crack up! It was great, and I can't wait until they get it all put together! I've been promised a copy, so if I can get it uploaded I'll post it on my home page!
