I love SoulSeek. Better than any other share program I've ever found, without a doubt. That is, besides Audiogalaxy (god rest it's soul).

Yes. AGS rest in peace.:(

A prayer.......

Still - SoulSeek is unsurpassed when it comes to whole albums.:)

Limewire is fair nice to me. I had a few problems with SLSK is why. :/

djmastermind 8th December 2003 21:17

Yes, slsk is really great to find full albums on. That's helpful when I'm deciding whether or not to buy an album.

I am so tempted to get that "It's not unusual" or whatever song right now. It's ringing in my head..Help me Master

djmastermind 8th December 2003 21:23

I'll need more lyrics then that. Maybe this should be carried over into the Music O'Rama board.

[edit]I've realized that we are in the Music O'rama boards. Either way, to continue the conversation would be a derailment of the initial conversation.[/edit]

JackalFace 8th December 2003 21:24

Maybe. But I'll drop it now, so as to prevent any further exertion of energy on my part.

You're not referring to Tom Jones are you JackalFace?

You have to stay on their good side. You can treat slsk like a bitch and it'll still deliver.:)

Cylob 16th December 2003 11:58

Has a thread-merge taken place here (like a page from a novel ripped out and inserted into another)???? Hmmmm.

slsk was a bastard this morning - twice it wiped-out my list of users.... I'd spent a week ploughing the seas for high-quality collections to pillage. Ah well. I must invest in 1 notepad and 1 pen.

Remember to delete what you have downloaded after you have evaluated the music for 30 days...

:D

Cylob 19th December 2003 13:44

Alternatively.....Rememeber to burn off what you've downloaded for use whenever you like for the rest of your life.:)

Hours of toil in the studio....:D Thankyou!

orac 19th December 2003 14:05

yeah your "soulseek" work is much harder than any band in a studio*

*apart from Bernard Sumner

Anyone wishing to share usernames, please PM. I have a half-decent folder-structure now.:)

ViperJackson 19th January 2004 04:36

I wish I had a faster connection. I've been on soulseek most of the past two days, downloading music. Last night, I downloaded the entire works of the Moog Cookbook (which took 6 or 7 hours)
