Your New Year Resolution!
 

So,here is another new year......... Happy New Year in advance to everyone :)
But do you have any New Year Resolution? I personally don’t believe that they work but still I’ll try some.......try to make sure several things to be done and several things not to be done.....

Like,
1.Need to study more. I almost have no contact with books if I don’t have exam..........but from next year I’ll study.........study for 3-4 hours daily, I promise.
2.Guess what,I think I’ve become net-addicted.......... spending at least 8-10 hours in net daily. It has to be stopped too. I can’t afford to waste so much time. So I promise myself again that from next year I’ll spend only 2-3 hours in net only.

Ok. That’s all for me. So what’s your New Year Resolution? And, do you think it works? Can you give any example (that would help:D)

1, Kill at least 1 person on my todo list.

Same one each year, but I'm just too lazy.

Only one resolution this year: get more sleep!

1. Keep up my straight-A's in school (Get a scholarship: Don't pay for college... :D )

2. Learn how to skate better.

3. Learn how to play bass better.

4. Find a girlfriend that remotly cares about me this time...

eat more healthily.

kick puppies at every possible opportunity.

Have a pointless resolution that I can keep all year and forever.

I accomplished my life-long goal last year, so now I have nothing that I will need to do for next year.... well I hope I will get that far.

Get a B average in all my classes.

Pass my 3 AP exams in May.

1. Program a PHP Triple Triad game that runs off of vBulletin 3.0.0.

2. Sell it online.

Alida's New Year Resolutions

1. To do my homework
2. To stick by my boyfriend no matter what
3. To eat less junk food (I never gain weight, but I gotta get out of the habit...)
4. To finish my book.
5. To make an animated music video.
6. To have fun! I'll be sixteen in 2004 (October... Shut up... :D)

1. To keep up with my Meds on a regular basis.
2. Try to control my anger better
3. Have a good time also, I'll be 21 in February.

I have another resolution for you: don't drink (too much).

Duely noted; I was an alcoholic at one point a few years back, and it does run in my family, so I know how I can get.

I was going to start a new years resolutions thread but then I searched and found this one.

1. Get a 4.0 one semester in college
2. Get and maintain a job
3. Lose 40 pounds of fat (last years resoultion was to gain wait :D)
4. Gain 20 pounds of muscle
5. More women
6. Use chopsticks more
7. No traffic infractions of any kind
8. Kill Osama Bin Laden
9. Make more friends
10. Keep old/current friends

10 resolutions for the new year. I'm going to write them down and post them on my wall so I don't forget.

well... Ok, I need more sleep, and I should study more often.
Maybe, I might aim for a job, I need the money, and would love to move out of the house when I turn 18.

Why bother with them? What is your motivation to go ahead and achieve it or maintain it?

I say, life is a daily process of new resolutions, one at the beginning of a New Year doesn't really do yourself justice.
