I've never seen such a great collection. We all have class.:)
|
Wait until apola spoils it sweet.
|
True.:( It looks good from this post up anyway. Who knows what will follow, could be anything...
|
Yes who knows........
|
How could I forget?
More Canadian rock, Tea Party - Transmission http://www.dropd.com/issue/78/CD/TeaParty/cover.jpg |

Tiga - DJ Kicks (2003) http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...67799e3dau.jpg The Sea and Cake - One Bedroom (2003) http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...68287esl4e.jpg |
There are two songs I'm constantly listening to, unsurprisingly, they are the two new Pet Shop Boys songs : 'Miracles' and 'Flamboyant'. The first one is a gorgeous love anthem, the second one is pure PSB electronica, among their best tunes EVER and that says something  :D
|
I didn't think much of either of those. But no doubt I'll end up liking them (I usually do).
Adding..... Cursive - The Ugly Organ (2003) http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...75398abwgi.jpg |
http://www.cnn.com/interactive/enter...abbey.road.jpg
The Beatles - Abbey Road http://www.artistdirect.com/Images/S...50242o8t6m.jpg Children Of Bodom - Hatebreeder http://meephan.hypermart.net/news/pictures/brmc.jpeg Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club http://www.artistdirect.com/Images/S...55081cf3zd.jpg Echo And The Bunnymen - Ocean Rain http://www.lasering.ee/img/toote_pil...9747106026.jpg Manic Street Preachers - Generation Terrorists http://www.artistdirect.com/Images/a...vement_200.jpg Pavement - Slanted And Enchanted |
And to think Raz, you once rated Offspring.:D
How the times can change... |
The offspring. Scary times. :D
|
It's like being satisfied with chicken soup on christmas day.
Adding... Kitchens of Distinction - Love Is Hell (1989) http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...36959255j0.jpg |
http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...31475242jc.jpg
A friend turned me on these guys. Not my normal listening, but growing on me. |
 That's one good album (a perfect dish-wiping companion).
Adding... Barbara Morgenstern - Nichts Muss (2003) http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P...2.LZZZZZZZ.jpg |
|
More recent hard addictions this month: Riot Grrrl and Mellow Trip-Hop.....such lovely noises one after another. :)
http://members.roadfly.com/ccalmer01...ksAreHeavy.jpg http://members.roadfly.com/ccalmer01...~BecomingX.jpg L7 ~ Bricks Are Heavy (1992) ........ Sneaker Pimps ~ Becoming X (1996) |
I love all 3 of the above. This thread gets better.:)
Barbara Morgenstern - Fjorden (2000) http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...17884iffzd.jpg AMG weren't able to pigeonhole Barbara into a genre, so they invented 'indie electronic'. I'm struggling with it myself... I may cop-out and just tag it 'ambient-pop'. |

She does both very well. Not a million miles from Sneaker Pimps (given that they're both trippy).
|
Led Zeppelin - Remasters (1992)
http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...08535zmoj4.jpg Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality (1971) http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...175991rnrp.jpg Tool - Aenima (1996) http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...61103q2htv.jpg |
Luomo - The Present Lover (2003)
http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...96180dwslv.jpg Another genre I never knew existed - 'micro house'. There's nothing micro about this album. Maybe if I copied it to a minidisc... |

Lali Puna - Tridecoder http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...39518xualn.jpg The Sea and Cake - Glass http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...89081fpurw.jpg |
Hey Cylob, do you really like Oriental music? (Guessing from that 'Lali Puna' song)
BTW, my favs for Dec 2003: Swayzak (Cylob's recommendation :) ) http://www.niksula.cs.hut.fi/~rsirok...-_himawari.jpg Hevia: http://www.joseangelhevia.com/hevia.jpg |
Good stuff Triton.:) I don't think I have any oriental stuff (Lali Puna are German, I don't know the reason behind their name).
I take it Hevia plays the pipes (either that or he's holding them for someone). Interesting. |
Probably trying to look good:):P
|
LOL! You guys have a priceless sense of humour :)
BTW, José Ángel Hevia (the guy in the pic) is a Spanish artist; and his music really rocks (isn't it interesting to know that his music is entirely played on pipes?) |
Very intresting indeed. One of my dad's mates playes the bag pipes.
|
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I (1969), II ('69), III ('70), IV ('71)
