media library double entries (artist)
I have been having one problem with my Media Library in WinAmp 5.
I have one artist listed on there twice and no matter what I do I can't seem to get Winamp to recognize that's its the same artist. 13 songs from the same album are in one artist folder on the media library list and 1 song is alone in its own section. Here are the particulars: - artist name is spelled exactly the same in the file name, and there's not spaces before or after the name in either group - ditto to both the ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags, artist name is exact same with no extra spaces. I have triple-checked this. - Removing the song from the media library and re-scanning doesn't fix this. It'll list one instance of the artist but when I re-scan it'll create a 2nd entry. - The particular track that's isolated does have a very similar filename to another track on the album (the latter version being a REMIX), but no amount of tinkering with the names of the file or the ID3 tags in different formats seems to help. Any suggestions please? |
Well, nevermind I got it to work after a half hour of tinkering. I'm not sure what I did to fix it =/
