new at this. how do i install a plug-in!
 
i am new at this computer stuff. i have tried to look for the answer but can seem to find it can someone tell me how to install a plug in. i downloded a cross fader but i cant install. can someone help

Exactly which 3rd-party authored crossfader did you download? Working link please. :D

Winamp plugins are .dll (Dynamic Link Library) files and should be downloaded directly into your Winamp\Plugins folder. Most crossfaders are DSP/Effect plugins. So, to activate, follow these steps...

CTRL+P to open preferences > Plug-ins > DSP/Effect > either double-click or highlight the crossfading plugin you downloaded and then press the "Configure" button to activate it.
