Missing Privacy Policy
 

Hi Folks,

The privacy policy for the player seems to be missing. The license agreement that comes with the 5.0 install refers to http://www.winamp.com/privacy, which returns a 404, and the web site's privacy statement at http://www.winamp.com/privacypolicy.php says
...but there is no link in that paragraph.

Where is the privacy policy for the player?

I think I found it thanks to Google ("Winamp Privacy Policy" site:winamp.com): http://www.winamp.com/disclaimer.php

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll bring it to the attention of the Dev Team.

btw... clicking on the "View the Client Policy" link at the top of the "Winamp.com Privacy Policy" page will bring you to the "Winamp Client Privacy Policy" page, and then clicking on the "View the Site Policy" link at the top of the "Winamp Client Privacy Policy" page brings you right back to the other. A visible "toggle" between both pages, at the very top of each page.

I only wanted you to see that your Google Search wasn't necessary. ;)
