Media Library during broadcast
 

Question: Is there a way for listeners to get info for the current song being played (e.g. Album title, etc)?

Currently, if I were to listen to my own stream, the Artist and Song Name displays, however when I go to Media Library, the only thing that shows up is my broadcast IP address. I would like for listeners to be able to get the album info etc, if that's at all possible?

Where exactly in the Media Library do you want this to show?

Hmmm, Just when someone clicks on Media Library to find out more info on the song, I would like the same info displayed for the listener as I have as a broadcaster. You know, Artist, Song Title, Album, and when they click on the album title, a list of all the songs on that album.

Know what I'm talking about?

P.S. And I mean from THEIR WinAmp 5.01 while listening to the broadcast.

I would suspect this impossible, unfortunately. Shall we wait for a second opinion?

Hmm, maybe that will be something that Nullsoft will add on their next update of WinAmp?

Use the url field and the mini-browser.

Uncheck the auto option and fill in with the url you want displayed.

Check out the winamp.lks file (in Winamp's install directory) for sample links and possible parameter usage.

I used this method moons ago to display the currently playing song lyrics in the mini-browser.

The Media Library is info about the stream, not what is streaming.
