I don't mind it. If you don't like it, leave. Sometimes I do just that to GD when I find it gets out of hand... Just leave it for a while.

Others have done / are doing the same.

Well, from looking at the first page, there might be some truth to that, InvisableMan. However, some of the actual good threads are worth wading through the rest.

I enjoy the general insanity of general discussion.

I've had to take many a break. Now I'm on a particularly long "break" - I have definitely become much less active - from 30ppd down to like 5.

Oh the instructions cover some really inventive stuff. The real thing AND batteries, a chandelier, fresh strawberries, a washing machine (on spin cycle), jello, climbing harnesses, ice cubes, peanut butter, a parachute, a Spencers franchise, energy bars, and a torque wrench.

I know what to do with all of it but the torque wrench. Still reading...I'm on page 59.

I don't mind the insanity of GD, mostly because I have never known it to be any other way. I've been here less than 1 year and it has never changed. So oh well :)
