Playlist sorting troubles
I use advanced tag formatting in winamp with the following string:
[%artist% - ][$abbr(%album%,20)[ '['%tracknumber%']'] ]%title%[ %streamtitle%] and it works well but there are two odditties that show up. a) When it sorts by track number, since tracknumbers less than 10 are single digit, it puts them in the following order: 10 11 1 2 3 .. and so on, so it puts the two digit tracks before the single digit, and it gets kinda troublesome. b) When I set winamp to read tag data everything works fine, but when i actually click to play, it replaces the album title with the directory title that the album resides in, which seems like completely illogical behavior. thanks in advance |
Ok I realized my stupidity and fixed the first problem (i needed the $num() in formatting), but I still need help with b..

Using Winamp 5.01, not 5.0 ?
Have you added these files to the media library? Are the album fields correct in the id3 tags? Is "Use library data for winamp title formatting" checkmarked in: Prefs -> Media Library -> Library Options? |
