IE does not open Winamp
 

When I try to listen to Radio Paradiso (Berlin) winamp does not open as the default player. I have de-activated windows media player and even then winamp does not open. I have selected all files as the default association in Winamp but it does not work????

Well, a link to the station / stream would've been nice...

but, at a guess, this will be an .ASX playlist stream, and not a .PLS or .M3U playlist stream.

ASX is a proprietry Microsoft playlist format and these streams will open in Windows Media Player.

Winamp does not support the .ASX playlist format.

Save the ASX playlist to disk then open it in Notepad, and you will see that the actual stream is something like:

mms://site.com:port/paradiso
