Remote control of Winamp
 

Hello everybody,

I'd like to use my laptop with Winamp in my car playing playlists. However, it would be nice to have some buttons that skip, stop, pause etc.

I've controlled PowerPoint earlier with RS-232 using the disabled settings in the Windows Control Panel; maybe Winamp allows something similar? Some BASIC microcontroller + a few contact closures, and I'd have a nice user interface.

Try RM-X, I haven’t used it in awhile but I think it has what you are looking for.
