USAF Bomb the UK by mistake

seems rather ....unimportant to me.

1)it was a 'practice bomb'
2)it caused a HUGE 18 inch crater.
3)nobody was hurt.

OK, so obviously this isn't good in any respects....but it seems rather crude that we are bitching about a practive bomb making a 18 inch crater while people die in Iraq from the real thing.....but that's just me....

Its humour, a laugh, a bit of fun to the brighten the day. You could tell that by the way I wrote it.:rolleyes:

Yeah and it was in East Yorkshire, so not much harm could've been done, even if it was live.

We are training them better. Thats what practice bombs are for. So that real bombs arent dropped on you guys (any more)

I hope they aren't geting trained in southern California.....o no, we have a lot of military base around here:eek: :confused:

by we i mean the united states. since the incident in afgahinstan with the canadians the airforce had a lot of unfavorable press and im sure they are training their pilots better.

not really a pilot training issue. the intelligence and tactics are what needs fixing, not that you'll hear anyone admit it.

Or they could all just stop playing silly buggers - learn to get along with one another and then maybe the things could be turned in to something constructive instead of destructive..practice or otherwise...
