Transformers were badass. I never had the toys though.

Always wanted one of these when I was a nipper:

I think I was about 10 or 11, I got my first PlayStation for my birthday gift...I still got the Official Playstation Magazine with the demo disks, and they had a demo of Test Drive 5 on it...One of two cars you could choose in the game was a 1998 Dodge Viper GTS or a 1970 Pontiac GTO...I knew nothing on cars back then, but I chose the Viper, because it had style (Compaired to a boxy 60's muscle car) and was really fast in the game...Sure, I got a 1:24 scale model car of it that I liked (And still do) along with a Hot Wheel, but I still have a desire to own one in real life... :)

Well, once I get a professional job as an auto engineer and get the money, that childhood dream just might be my adulthood reality... :D

i carried around a magazine ad for one of those pre pda (early 90's when i was ~6-10)electronic organizers. i had that bloody thing with me till you couldnt even see the pic any more. my parents had a problem with lying so for a great deal of time i beleived that they would get it for me. i learned very soon not to ever trust my parents (<--- yes its very sad) i ended up saving for what ever i wanted. when i could that is. my mom on occasion waited till she knew i had almost a hundred saved up and would look for where i was hidding it and spend it. (in the sickest places too i once hid my money on the inside of a lamp and she bloody found it!) god that makes them sound really bad.. they werent that bad (*says omit over and over again to self while rocking in place)

i had transformers but both my parents staged a koo and made a spectacle of trashing them because they had heard from their friends that they were evil

it was like 80 bucks too no allowance, no lunch money at that age at that time with inflation thats like 400k... in a freakin lamp... the makings of it too not the shade or anything ... god

i wanted a pound puppy too the ones that would change from happy to sad
