The Great Tequila Blackout
Okay, so yesterday I got a little ripped at my cousins.
I've always known better than to drink tequila, but lets just say my fear was conquered...for a bit. I had a couple shots, and a while later went to go home. I wasn't drunk, I was actually feeling pretty sober. So I left. My cousin didn't even try to stop me (and he would have, had he thought I was more than lit). The weird part is there's a grey spot at this part of my memory. The next thing I can remember is waking up from a doze or something in a movie theatre. I saw someone from work walk in the theatre and wave to me. I waved back. All I remember is that I was here to see a movie. I looked at my watch and I saw an hour and a half had passed. It wasn't like "Oh my God, what happened?" I just remember thinking "the movie should start soon." It never occured to me that the movie started at 10:30 and I had left my cousins at around 9. But today, it's kinda freaking me out, not only did I black out, but I bought a pack of cigarettes (I'm trying to quit), smoked 5 of them, and killed a quarter tank of gas. So I must have drove somewhere. It's crazy. I don't know what happened, and I've never had this before. I only think it was the tequila because that was the only thing I did that could have differred from any other night. Unless I got kidnapped by aliens. So, to make a long story, be careful when drinking. |
Wow. That sucks.
//edit Got a receipt of where you got the cigs? |
I could probably look through my car, but I have doubts I'd find anything. Even if I did, I wouldn't figure out what I was doing driving around half lit through the bowels of South Jersey.
I find it kind of funny, and that's a bit weird. The situation just strikes a funny mark for me and I don't really know why. It might be relief I didn't wake up in a jail cell or next to a lady with more necks than braincells. |
Have you checked your ass for probes?
|
Might be hard to check in there.
Great quote in your sig Raz. ;) |
It was the aliens, they do the same thing to me all the time.

[Windude] The Shadow Government downloaded all of the memories stored in your head throughout your life and then wiped your memory of that time period to cover the fact. They then rolled your odometer forward, drained gas out of the tank, bought you cigarettes out of your own money and made you smoke them to make it less suspicious.

Well, that sounds really bad, I have had some troubles to remember things but that only happened at parties and most of the time, in the morning I remembered (sometimes it's hard to dany it when it's lying next to you :p )some of it and all of it after people told me...but what you had, a total blackout neevr happened to me, even with tequila...be carful the next time, or, even better, don't drink it again please!
Mia:) |
I have Mexican and Brasillian friends thus i drink alot of Tequila...
it's really a very complicated equation.... Money + The Moose (my fav. bar) + 1,5 USD price per shot + Diogo (from brasil) = Tequila sorry, im slightly high.... :p |

Tequila is good, you just have to get the real mexican stuff, the bastards export all the shit, and keep the good stuff to themselves...
Also i think it might be a matter of drinking less of it...sure you only had 5 shots? :) |

In Tequila, Jalisco, México (where they made the Tequila) use Magüey ( a plant) There are many bad companies that use other stuff to make the Tequila. However the alcohol is what make you "dizzy". Not the Tequila it-self. |

Tequila is not at all a typical booze in Brazil like it is in Mexico. Our 'national' firewater is cachaça [kä-'shä-sä], which is made from sugar cane. Caipirinha [käee-pee-'ree-nyä] is a drink made with a mix of cachaça, lemon juice, a bit of sugar and, if you wamt, a couple of ice cubes. |
And about the blanks, grays and 'forgetting things' stuff after some shots, we have a beer here in Brazil whose brand-name is 'Brahma'. After a lot of hangovers and 'forgettings' I began to call that 'state of mind" Brahmnesia... :D

Tequilla isn't so bad. I seem to have only good memories of those times...or none at all.
