Wav to mobile phone format
Hello all
I'm new to Winamp so I wonder if you can help me. I would like to convert a wav file to be used with my mobile phone. I believe my phone accepts 'IMA ADPCM, 16000 HZ, Mono, 16 bits per sample'. Is there a win amp lug in to do this? Or is it possible for winamp to do it without a plugin? Cheers:) |
What phone is it?

It's a Siemens MC60
You can only use polyphonic ringtones on it, which are from MIDI files.
It plays wav files too. You can record them through a the phone itself or transfer them over via PC. You just have to convert them to the right format first. I've transfered some over but the quality wasn't that good as the bit rate was too low.

Does the phone use the .wav format, or its own format
Don't most phones use amr bilbo?
I believe it uses vmo format
In that case then, you need to find a WAV to VMO convertor.
