Winamp Overheating

First, great job with version 5 =). It's fast and has capabilities to be simple or advanced. However, I've noticed that when I load a playlist of around 250 songs, the computer starts to overheat after a while (no decrease in performance or speed, however) and because my computer is set to auto-stop when overheated, I often get interrupted. Is there someway to fix this? Possible with a plugin or just an update?

It's been documented here that modern skins strain a computer, maybe modern skins cause the processor to run hotter. Open your computer case and remove all fans, even the one on the heatsink. Clean them with canned air or a dry cloth (sock, paper towel, whatever--be a daredevil) and put them back in. Keep an eye on your fan speed to make sure the fan isn't going out (the same program that shuts your computer down to prevent overheating will probably show you the fan speed). You may have to buy a new fan if the computer keeps overheating but fans cost only five bucks if you don't go to a chain store.

To get an answer from the people around here who know a lot more than me you're going to have to let them know the make and model of your computer and other info like RAM type and amt, operating system, etc. ...but I'd bet your CPU fan's failing.
