where is your quality control skills?
 

:o I cannot believe you guys really made Winamp 5.x series with some obvious bugs and critical errors.

Where is your all splendid quality controls which you guys have shown to people in Winamp 2.x series?

Install program cannot install cd-ripping module properly every time.

Install program makes "download" folder in my desktop everytime, so I have to erase by myself all the time, it's so annonying.

Even, it is installed, it does not work properly, it crashes all the time.

Don't you ever tried your program on another computers?

It's so obvious, if you ever tried your program on another computer just one time, these bugs can't be missed.

Is there anything happening in your company? I think the philosophy which was used in Winamp earlier version is hard to be found in this version.

Works fine everywhere else and doesn't do that. Sounds like your computer is realy fucked up.

Run a virus scanner and other stuff.

No, definitely it did not worked.

I have tried Winamp 5.01 and Winamp 5.02 full version.
Winamp simple version was okay with me, but full version was not in all computers.

I'm running virus scanner every weeks. And I think that I can manage my computer well more than other people. So I don't think that there is any problem in my computer.

So what do you think?

I don't think that you can suggest me a solution.

Because this problem is a kind of programming, it can be fixed only with programming.

linoshok, there is an infinite number of combinations of hardware and software out there, as you well know. Winamp copes with more than 99% of users needs and the other 1% are always welcome to come here and get help.

Now, if you really are looking for help, and not just wanting a bitch, then I suggest you get down to a few specifics of the problems you are experiencing. Some of the ones you are hinting at have already been addressed, and others can usually be resolved.

How about some full descriptions of the problems, system specs, error messages, the sort of things that might get you a response.

FYI - Sawg probably knows more about Winamp than the rest of us put together (DJEgg excepted :) )
